THEA - 201 Theatre: A Contemporary and Historical Introduction Credits: 3
An analytical approach to the understanding and appreciation of theatre as an art form. The course is designed for both prospective theatre majors and non- theatre students who wish to improve their understanding of theatre, both historically and aesthetically. The course will consist of lecture and discussion sessions concerning the major historic periods in theatre, with representative plays being studied. No acting is required for this class.
