Prerequisites PSY 201 and PSY 202 or permission of the instructor.
This course will provide an overview of psychopathology. The course will review theoretical concepts of mental illness. Diagnosis, classification, and treatment of common mental disorders will be applied to case examples. The course will also address legal, ethical, and cultural issues pertaining to assessment and treatment.
